| HIGH EXPEDITIONS | Route Climbed: Steven Gulch (With Ed Viesturs).  Date Climbed: Aug 20, 2004 | |
| Started my hike at 4:30 am. Sumitted Torreys Peak pretty early and then continued up to Grays Peak summit. I was getting ready to head down when I met Ed Viesturs on his way up to the summit. Took a couple shots with Ed at the summit and I continued going down to the TH. Foggy day. Grays Peak: 4,349 m (14,270 ft). | |

| 1st 14er for my son Chris and I. Beautiful day. Lots of people!!! Ran into Tom Strickland, who was running for the Senate at the time, on our way down. Decided to never again do a 14er, up and back in 1 day-must aclimatize! | |

| A bluebird morning turned into a stormy afternoon. Very beautiful scenery- just don't come expecting solitude on these peaks. Besides the crowds, a very good day. | |
