| I didn't find this thing to be as terrible as everyone says. If you are a regular to hiking peaks this will be no problem for you. Just take it slow and steady. Once you find your rhythm, stick to it. The 3.5 mile run down the Barr Trail after the steep hike made for a fun outing. | |

| Did the incline (in 39 min.), then summitted Rocky Mtn. and went on to Mt. Manitou. Skirting the summit of Rocky on the return got me into some interesting bouldering, but made the whole trip, including finishing down the Barr Trail, in 2:45. A gorgeous day. | |
