| I climbed it solo. Conditions were pretty good. Hard snow and quite some ice. Excellent climb, just very steep at the end. Also did the other four summits of Grand Combin the same day and returned to the Valsorey hut. | |

| When we climbed the route, things were different from andrea, the snow was deep and firm. The thing we disliked about the route was primarily the rotten rock (II) just below the summit of Combin de Valsorey. In our case I would not rate the route higher than PD+, so it seems the circumstances make a lot of difference. | |
