| This was an interesting but exhausting climb, one of many times I have summited this peak. Among our group, Shanna and I were really huffing and puffing back up the hill to the switchback where we started. We never did make it over to the Sawtooths that day like we originally intended. | |

| Climbed this one last year. I hurt my ankle, so getting down the mountain and back up the gulley to the car killed me. Cool ridge, though! | |

| Started at the big switchback on the Mt. Evans road near 13,000. Descended to 12,000 and ascended the southeast ridge of Bierstadt. After negotiating the two class 3 towers, reached the bierstadt summit and crossed the Sawtooth. Ascended mt. evans and returned to the car with mobs of people. | |
