| As I stated in the main page climber's log, this route is fantastic! I ran into only one other group of three (on the way down) during the entire trip. You really feel as though you are the only soul on the mountain (and I hiked it over a holiday weekend no less!) 4 wheel drive not necessary to reach the trailhead, but a vehicle with higher than normal clearance would be recommended (if you want to chance it, borrow a high-lift jack, and it should get you out of any jams!) | |
