| Drove out from KC for the long 4th of July weekend. Topped out in the rockies in the early afternoon and bushwhacked off trail to get back to Black Cloud creek. Highly recommended! | |

| We went up the Black Cloud trail pretty much as described. On the return we did a side trip over Bull Hill 13761 before returning to Black Cloud trailhead. Along the way we found a dog named Jaye, who we later reunited with his owner. His owner was fishing. Jaye had a better plan. He climbed Mt Elbert instead! | |
