| I hiked this yesterday - virtually nobody on the approach trail. Instead of heading NW over Peak 12,085 I headed farther up the gulch and decided to hike up the (heinous) couloir that leads to the rocky crotch of Woods. I headed back around the ridgeline, up and over peak 12,085, and back down the long ridge to the gulch entrance. I had the entire ridgeline and wildflowers to myself and really enjoyed the tremendous 360 degree views on an almost flawless day. | |
