| Well not quite - We've done the second part of this route from Styhead. Like mountainmanjohn I found the sight of Great End Central Gully full of snow inspiring - I'll be back to claim that one at sometime in the future...! | |

| We did this route and first got the idea we wanted to climb Great End Central Gully in winter..........it looked so impressive. (We have done it now.....and it was). The route offers good views back down borrowdale as you follow the gyll. | |
