| Solo climb (unless my dog counts as a partner) of the Valhallas in the Olympics. Not very difficult (an Australian Cattle Dog managed it). Bailed on taking on Mount Olympus due to weather though. Overall awesome trip and a great view! | |

| Lived along the Quinault River, upstream from Lake Quinault, nextdoor to the North Shore Park Ranger Station from 1972 to 1974. Did a lot of the Olympic Park routes then; Low Divide, High Divide, Enchanted Valley, The Elwha, etc. It was a wonderful area to live if you could tolerate over 200 inches of annual rainfall... | |

| Hiked some along Hurricane Ridge area and Hoh Rainforest in 2009; this has got to be one of the top 3 diverse parks in the world! | |
