| A nice dayhike. The hillsides right off Walker Pass are typically covered with wildflowers around April, I think. | |

| Hiked it during a narrow weather window between a series of cold winter storms. Surprisingly little snow (only a couple in windblown inches on the trail on north aspects). Cold, though; 15F on the summit at 9:30 am. Windy, too. Didn't see another soul the whole time. An enjoyable walk. | |
