Scott...you da man! What a great hike and a wonderful day...yes the rap down the waterfall was a little tricky but all-in-all a great day and a hike I and my wife will definitely do again.

What an incredible day! If it hadn't been cloudy, we probably would have walked down the creek the entire way, considering it was only about mid-calf deep at it's deepest point. The waterfall was amazing--can't wait to go back and come in from above.

JJSweet Hike!  Sucess!
Date Climbed: May 26, 2007

The original plan was to do the loop but with some apprehension about rapping through the waterfall I proposed to just hike up Professor Creek. What a pleasant hike! Very beautiful and magnificent views at every turn. The waterfall was fun and after viewing it we realized that we were over-thinking the rappel. It was a wet hike as well, knee-deep at its deepest point but proper footwear is a good idea. I went with just tennis shoes w/o socks and the other members of the party went in flip-flops. We were all hurting by the time we got back to the car. Of course we noticed some locals with there fancy canyoneering/watershoes. Think I will purchase some of those fancy shoes before going on my next "wet" hike.

Vagabond ManifestoAwesome but little-known!  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 31, 2006

Hiked this with a friend. Amazed that I didn't do it sooner--it's close to Moab and it's beautiful! Walked in the creek itself most of the way. Unexpected sinkholes made for spontaneous humor. We hiked to the neat, large waterfall and back.
