| From Neuhaus to Ankl-Alm, climbing summit over the north ridge. Short descent over west ridge. Following the beautiful ridge circle to a small chapel and descending over Ankle-Alm to the parking lot in Neuhaus. Reaching the car just before the rainshower starts. | |

| Lovely hike up from Neuhaus via Freudenreichalm and Obere Firstalm, where my wife Bobbie stopped to wait for me. Nice late summer sunshine became low cloud as I reached the West Ridge, but I still enjoyed going across that, (had to queue for the harder part!). Hiked through the cloud base to a nice sunny and very busy summit. Returned the way I had come. | |
