Date Climbed: Aug 9, 2009

Summited via the cairned trail that heads north off of Cap'n Jacks (667). Lost the trail near the top and worked my way around until finding a suitable way up.

davebobk47A long day  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Nov 9, 2007

After climbing Mt Garfield and Mt Arthur the bushwack to Tenney Crags was not fun at all; very rough terrain. The summit area of Tenney's was great, lots of rocks to play on and two benchmarks for some reason. I was very thankful when I found a carin and a faint trail when I started down. I was tired of bushwacking.

RckyMtneerShort but fun  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jun 22, 2006

The trail is VERY faint higher up, but is a nice alternative to bushwacking. I had considered this a possible route to head north to Cameron Cone, but that would have been both a bushwack and a giant boulderwack!! :) If you go via the Bear Creek Trail, watch for some awesome cascades in Bear Creek.

Date Climbed: Dec 28, 2005

I climbed this peak back in 1975. My nephew, home from college, and I decided it would make a good goal for a day hike. We left the Bear Creek Trail too early, and had to free-lance our way over some minor summits to the true summit. It was a beautiful sunny day although there was some snow on the ground down in the trees. I did not find a register this time.

csmcgranahanA surprise trail!  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Apr 15, 2006

I was surprised to find a faint trail with cairns leading all the way to the summit from Bear Creek Canyon. I had been expecting a long and steep bushwack. Great views from the summit!
