byatesNeat peak  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 19, 2009

Climbed the west side with Walt Haas and Robert Ging, class 3 on the up, lost a bit of the route on the way down adding a few class four moves but the chicken heads were plentiful.

WasatchvoyageUp the S.W. Chute.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: May 21, 2009

Visited this cool peak this morning via Bell Canyon. I decided to toss on the crampons and climbed one of the chutes located on the south west side of the peak to the ridge, then scrambled to the peak. The weather was phenomenal. Probably close to 60 degrees, no hint of wind at all. This peak provides some of the best views of the surrounding summits! Went down the same chute and went off to do Rocky Mouth Canyon Peak across the way.

apachedinoLooong Ridge  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jun 8, 2008

Brought snowshoes, but didn't use them. Man that ridge is long, I kept expecting to be on near the peak only to have to hop more boulders, the conditions were great for glissading when I went down though, not to icy not to slushy, made it to the reservoir in seriously like 5 minutes. Overall a litle over 6 hours there and back.

Moogie737Bells Canyon, west face  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jun 19, 2007

Today was my 2nd time at the summit of this underrated peak. We crossed a boulder field below the upper reservoir dam, then found our way up to the summit ridge. It took us 4 hours from the Bells Canyon TH on Wasatch Blvd. From there we scrambled down to the saddle and went on over to climb North Thunder Mountain. That, my friends, makes for a hearty day's exercise. #3 on 9-25-08 with Brent. Tried the west face again, made it, but decided we liked the ascending contour on the south side better, the route from the dam at the upper reservoir.

Date Climbed: May 26, 2006

First visit to this summit. This is a nice peak; not as prominent as nearby peaks but with a very nice view. After more than a half-dozen trips up Bells Canyon, routefinding continues to be challenging, although I'm slowly getting it figured out.
