| Worth doing yearly early season or late. We have linked it up with Stanley accross the valley which made for a great day out. I would suggest starting on Stanley first to allow Shades to warm up. Watch out for Ted and his Raven pals. They are smart and cagey. They will steel in front of your eyes, and shit on your bag as a calling card. Truly amazing. | |

| Nice day out, and good ice for May. The approach is scenic this time of year. Would be cool to mix it up on the rock overhang above, wish we had taken the gear. | |
