| Had a wonderful evening in Whiteface Shelter and then set out up Whiteface Mtn. Some excellent views to the south and east through the trees. | |

| Dropped the kids at smuggs day camp while staying in the condos there and decided to explore the notch. Only up here usually to ski in the winter so it was beautiful and saw the LT route so started climbing. Ran into a guided group from smuggs on the way up and made the spruce peak summit and sterling pond route. Nice fun hike, a little turned around in the fog on top. | |
