A fierce thunderstorm came in during night and lasted till 7 a.m., so I decided to abandon the climb right at the Tighiettu hut. Weather improved through the day but as my family and I planned to return to the coast this day there was no second chance.

Date Climbed: Jun 14, 2006
Northern normal route (Couloir de Trimbolaccio) as a solo daytrip from Haut-Asco. Solid snow from 1750m onwards in the morning, no snow behind Bocca Rossa. Back at the car at half past one (noon).
