| I followed the old road up a ridge south of the mountain and scrambled up the basalt columns on the west face of the Mountain. I returned via the east ridge. Still a few wildflowers in bloom, and nearly no clouds in the sky. Went on to visit the painted hills after this mellow hike. | |
