| As Jamie described, after a class 4 head wall at the base we weaved grassy 3rd class ledges until climb 3 protected pitches to the ridge crest and scrambled the ridge to the highest point. | |

| mike and i found what we weren't expecting, grassy ledges, on the north face of west trinity. we followed ledge after never ending ledge roughly 2/3rds of the way up the face. after breaking out the rope we climbed 3 pitches of 5.3-5.4 with a 5.5 crux directly up to the highpoint of the face ~15m from the true summit. and our work had just begun..... my pink 0.5 tri-cam now lives high on the north face of west trinity. enjoy the view! jamie | |
