Brian JenkinsRest Day?  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 19, 2009

Supposed to be a rest day at camp but I got bored at Dollar Lake and hiked up to check out this ridge. Didn't know it was a summit but found a small plastic container with a register so I signed it. Weird huge reddish crickets at the summit along with tons of grasshoppers and flying ants. Descended a talus gully about halfway along the ridge back to Dollar Lake.

Pat and I climbed this on our way back to Dollar Lake from the summit of Pete's Point. We crossed meadows on the south side, then ascended a gulley to the main col west of the summit. We followed the ridge to the summit, then descended to camp at Dollar Lake via the east ridge.

SouthRakerRoute Climbed: Up the W ridge, down the N ridge.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Sep 2, 2007

I hiked in from Tenderfoot Trailhead with a couple friends and set up camp at Dollar Lake. We summited Aneroid that night, and my friends decided they were too tired to attempt any other peaks the next day. I set out alone in the morning to hit Pete's Point and attempted to traverse the N slopes of Dollar Ridge... bad idea. I maded it over to Petes and decided to hit up Dollar Ridge on the way back instead of decending into the basin and hiking back up to the lake. I was glad I did as it had some great views from the summit.

We decided to climb this peak from our camp at Dollar Lake to watch the sunset. The view from the summit was amazing.
