| Mike, Joshua, Rico and I hiked up from Strawberry TH and traversed to the south side from the Riner Basin-Slide Creek saddle. The hike to the saddle is 5.3 miles ... and it was a hot day. Then we did Slide Mtn and Peak 8,511. | |

| I knew I wanted to climb Slide Mountain this day, I wasnt totally sold on Graham though and figured I would only hit it if close enough. From the summit of Slide I could see Graham was about a mile away, and I had plenty of daylight left so I ate a powerbar and made tracks for this adjoining mountain. The rough part was bushwhacking back to the skyline trail and the long hike back to the strawberry campground. Neat summit area, found a marker but didnt see a summit register. | |
