| Climbed it with Frank Haagsma via the normal route from the Konkordiahütte, on the way to the Gross Grünhorn. Due to conditions we were forced to stop at the Grünegghorn and return to the Konkordiahütte. | |

| Spending the night in the Konkordia hut we had en early start down the famous 300 steps to the glacier. We continued up the Grünegg glacier and futher on up the snowfield to the rocky summit of Grünegghorn. From there we went down to Ewigschneefeld across the heavily crevassed glacier. We had some good days in an exciting and remote part of the Alps, (August 5, 1998). | |
