| Hiked twice in the same day. Morning had the mountain covered in clouds and fog. Afternoon gave way to partly cloudy skies and gorgeous view of the valley's below and mountain ranges far off. One of the best view in the south, period! | |

| I walked up from Carvers Gap with my wife and her father. Nice views. My first bald. Nice little hike that would be good for small kids or other who are not hikers. | |

| climbed Round Bald a few times as a kid and once more recently on the way to Grassy Ridge Bald. Usually, the tourists don't venture beyond Round Bald. So keep hiking if its crowded! | |
