| I like to start from Woodside and ride up Alpine Road (unpaved, some short singletrack sections), then take some of the trails in the Coal Creek OSP up to Skyline, then hit Borel, and then a few laps on the Ancient Oaks trail (fun singletrack riding !) Great evening / after-work training ride during the summer.
Alpine Road is open all year long (and unlike many other south bay trails night riding is legal on it), but some of the open space preserves can have seasonal closures to mountain bikes due to muddy conditions. Usually I like to do this ride in warmer temps, spring through fall. |
