Peter GramLong Day  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 16, 2009

Starting from China Meadows, I climbed Wilson Peak and Mt. Powell in a day. On the way up I went by Red Castle Lake, climbed Wilson Peak, descended towards the Smiths Fork pass, and up Mt. Powell. Total distance was around 33 miles, which took 12 hours 35 minutes.

seanpeckhamglad I picked this one  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 20, 2009

I haven't done too many of the 13ers yet, but I'm glad I picked this one for my third. The views are some of the best I've seen anywhere, and the climb was fun, too. Got to do a standing glissade (yes, on snow, not scree) on the way down. Did Kings the day before.

Started at Center Park. Hiked the 5 12000 footers on the west side of Garfield Basin. Then did this one and then East Wilson. Loved the view and the long summit ridge.

ScottNice climb  Sucess!

A very nice and secluded peak. One of the most beautiful 13ers in Utah.
