From Pine Nut Camp on the east side of the mountain. Nice, scenic route. Cold and snowy.

Two times we took the Wagon Canyon wash up, the ridge (S of the wash) down. The wash is a bit trickier than you might suppose; many branches come in. Always take the main branch (often hard to distinguish, when pinyons obscure the path) UNTIL ~8300', when you will bear right.

Also went from Pine Nut 10/11/09. This route has about 1000' less elevation gain, but is nowhere as pretty, and has a long dirt-road drive.

I think this peak via Wagon is much nicer than Hayford.
