| fine solo of santa fe on a crisp november day. the predicted storm rolled in during the last half-hour before reaching the summit cutting visibility to 100 yards. warning: avalanches are coming! the hoard layer and hard crust are setup perfectly, all it needs is a sizable load to create a slide. this weekend's system might do that trick! jamie | |

| Ascended road on north side of Morgan Gulch and then ran ridge from Morgan Peak to Sante Fe to Geneva to Landslide. Somehow lost my ice axe on the way down :( | |

| Snow covered the road the whole way up, was able to cut some of the road off by hiking up Morgan gulch (also continuous snow). Made the descent super fast, from summit to treeline in only 45 minutes! Great views from the top, still a lot of snow in the area! Saw a wet slide on a peak across the valley, be careful out there. | |

| Great day and Great hike. Strong and cold wind above treeline. Having a cold didn't help either. | |
