| It was time to get this summit on SummitPost, so I studied the Topo maps and went for it. I strayed from this, my planned route several times (on purpose) to get a better feel for other routespossibilities. The extra exploration increased the amount of exertion required so that my totals were 14 miles with over 6,250’ of gain rather than the 12.3 miles and 5,346’ I would've had if I’d stayed on-route. It was worth it and I’d do it again. This remote summit is well worth visiting. | |
