| a nice 5.6 and easier climb, just pick a line. great rock and alot of routes waiting to be climbed on it's direct north face. See mt. alpine guide by Brunkhorst. easily done in a short day. | |

| Lots of snow on this hike, hit the saddle above Gniess lake and dropped down to the lake and went up the mountain on the south side. Very difficult hiking in loose snow but well worth the climb to hike into the clouds | |
