fun lead
Date Climbed: Oct 25, 2009
I had the pleasure of leading the second pitch, my 1st valley 5.8. Tons of fun and great views, I wish it was longer..

Sierra Ledge Rat
Noose
Led the route with the rope tied in a hangman's noose around my neck. Ha! I free-soloed so much back then I guess it was a statement about roped climbing.

Good climb.
I've done this a few times over the years, including my first trip back in 1980. A great intro to Valley trad 5.8.

I followed both pitches. The start on the first pitch with fingers in pin scars is kind of scary. The 2nd pitch is lots of fun.

Climbed with
Craig
and
Carolyn
(Craig led both pitches). Fun !
Afterwards, TR'd the 5.10b to the climber's left - a licheny friction-fest :)

Followed the first pitch on 24-Sept and led the 5.7 pitch of Chouinard Crack with
Marie
.

Fun Trad
Seems so long ago, but yes I lead this route and remember enjoying the gear placement more than the view.
