| I did those 1120m of elevation in less than 1 hour 45 minutes, so I decided to ascend that day also Creta di Timau - on the other side of the valley. But along the connection ridge there was no trail. I had no problems as long as I was on Karnischer Hoehenweg, of course, but when it goes across the ridge, I had to find a path towards Creta. There were only some weak trails and I lost much time crossing steep, grassy slopes. Above the end of the valley I decided to go directly up, calculating that I have still plenty of time. But descending from Creta I came just till the night to my car. I calculated that I did more than 1900m of altitude that day. |
