| Stood atop North Trapper for the second time. Baker Lake is still frozen and there's plenty of snow up high. Encountered wide variety of snow conditions; wait for the sun to hit the snow if you don't have crampons. | |

| 9jun07 Climbed for the second time. This outing was with Forest Dean (Missoula, MT) and Nathan (Salmon, ID). Weather was close to perfect. My first time doing a climb in snow-filled couloirs. Hard work, to be sure. 14Oct06 North Trapper, a summit I thought I'd never see. But with the help of Tim Sharp and good weather, all 6 of us reached the summit. What a great outing! | |
