| Gentle hike through a thickly-forested creekbed hits the top of the Verde Rim and the world drops off below in all directions. One of the most impressive views I've ever seen. Didn't see a soul the entire day, and it was Labor Day weekend. Great spot. | |

| Hiked in on standard trail from west with Nick Scouras. Honda made trailhead. For extra credit we drove up Towers Mountain afterwards - Nick got a bit woozy after all the curves. | |
