| Enjoyable hike along the Shore Owners Association trail from Lake Placid. I was obviously the first person to hike to the summit along this route since the season's first snow a couple weeks earlier. Mushy snow starting at 3,000 feet - unbroken trail not deep enough to pose any real difficulty. Four hour roundtrip. Solo as always. | |
