| I've hiked up here several times from several different trailheads. There are some great loop trips that culminate with a trip up to Saddle Peak for the great views. | |

| The geology along the trail is interesting to look at and adds a lot to the scenery. The section of the backbone trail west towards Tapia Park was really quite nice and worth the trek. | |

| I guess I actually did not make it to the true peak, but we climbed up to the peak next to the radio towers and then followed the backbone trail all the way to Malibu Creek State Park. | |
