| We took the steep trail up from the parking lot and then looped back via the road. Very nice trail, shady and lots more interesting than the road. I appreciate a peak without radio towers, too. | |

| This one has no business on any peak list. Weldon was just padding his stats when he added this one to the HPS list. Summitted this one with Occidental Peak in the evening after climbing Iron Mtn earlier in the day. Trip Report | |

| Took the road up after first scrambling up Mount Lawlor south firebreak. Trying to build my HPS numbers and doing like Mr. McEwan did. I drank champagne with him when he hit 200 peaks. Congratulations to him. | |

| I climbed this peak for the first time last Saturday. The ridge ascent is very steep, but also very short. On top, I met Bob McEwan, who had just completed his Sierra Club "list finish" (his 279th peak on the Sierra Club list)on Mt. Deception. | |
