| Started at about 2 p.m. and made it to the top at about 4:45 p.m. Climbed the long east ridge with my cousin Mike. Very nice almost vertical rocks to climb towards the top. A very rewarding hike. | |

| Did this some time ago with a bunch of friends. Some people were shooting guns from a wash at the bottom and we heard some bullets hitting off the rocks real close to us. Maybe they thought we were coyote?? | |

| Chris and I ascended via the north face through the volcanic escarpments while conducting training in the area. A nice peak. Not very tall, but it offers some great views in the desert. Winds in the area became VERY strong at around 2000 (8pm), and died down around 0345. | |
