| Went with Brian for the first time one day when he got off work early and wanted some quick laps. Both His and Hers were in easy, beat out condition. Personally, I enjoyed the mixed routes (M6 I think) on both sides better than the pure ice lines. | |

| David Huang and I climbed this route after warming up on Grotto Falls. It was pretty thin through the middle section and getting around the bulge to the anchor was extremely awkward. The neighboring route "His" was looking pretty burly and the lower portion of the pillar was missing. | |

| Been there 3 times now, cannot be beat for its proximity to Calgary... recommended only during the week to avoid crowds. Lovely climbs to do in an afternoon for a short day or to just run laps as a workout. Many people have hit the deck on His and Hers, Hers is rated grade 3-4 but in fact it is usually in a stiff 4 condition with often bad ice and is often underestimated. His is the harder one, but they form differently. | |

| His, WI 4-5, Hers, WI 3-4 and Grotto Falls, WI 2-3, make up the easy approach ice in Grotto Canyon. It took me over five years to get around to these climbs due to their popularity. In fact I have yet to climb the “Junkyards” directly behind my home for the same reason. But with a friend in town looking for her first WI experience, we headed back into Grotto Canyon. | |
