Bryan BennThe Benn/Lolli routes!  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Apr 3, 2009

Lolli and I went up to the West Summit on a day of low cloud and some wind, using the Watkin Path for approach and return. A very slow day as I had a left knee problem and Lolli hadn't walked much for 3 months. For the ascent from the Watkin Path, after we got a few metres away from the steep cliff edge, I set a mental straight line to the top and we just scrambled it: the Benn route! For the descent Lolli led down the steep scree slope to a slightly lower part of the Watkin Path: the Lolli route!

igneouscarlwalking and climbing  Sucess!

Walked up several times, the last being with my dad as part of the horseshoe in 2004. Recently climbed the north face via Avalanche/Red Wall/Longland's continuation, and via Route II. Brilliant fun.

DrJonnieStart of the 14 peaks?  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Sep 1, 1973

Eschewing the more mundane starts to the then called 14 peaks, we (The Ford Climbing Club) ascended Lliwedd from Pen Y Pass on our way to Y Wyddfa and the rest of the Horseshoe before dropping down to Nant Peris and the killer climb up to Marchlyn Mawr.

NanulsWhile doing the horseshoe  Sucess!

Went up on a really hot day and a friend of mine was sick over the edge, a nice story I know.

Dan BaileyI forget...

...the name of the route. Something on the face; officially a classic VDiff I think, but I've no idea if we followed the right line. It took all day. More people should climb here.

Nigel LewisTwice so far  Sucess!

Been over here twice as part of the horseshoe.
Although my boots don't have hobnails, I will get around to doing some of the classic climbs here one day.
