| Went to the Grandstand after Ubehebe Peak. The summit is low 5th class but you wouldn’t want to fall here because it is out in the middle of nowhere. | |

| I enjoyed scrambling around on the rocks. I felt like I was on an island, surrounded by a sea. It rained a bit the day/night before we visited so the temperature was perfect, about 70 degrees. We saw lots of lizards here. | |

| scrambled around the grandstand after chasing moving rocks. unseasonably warm for march, enjoyed the shady spots tucked in around the top of the grandstand rocks. | |

| A great day (and weekend) out with friends. After frolicking around on the Racetrack, we decided to climb around on the Grandstand. The highest block is a short and fun scramble (easy 5th). Good stuff. | |
