Hiked 2 trails nearest the falls, and trail to viewpoint far from falls. Awesome.

mountaingazelleSouth & North Rim   Sucess!
Date Climbed: Sep 13, 2009

My favorite was Uncle Tom’s Trail and the south rim trail to Artist Point. I also hiked the north rim to the Brink of the Lower Falls. There weren’t very many people there in the morning.

NavySeabeeUnbelievable  Sucess!

Several times in summer and winter to nearly every viewpoint. Jawdroppingly (word?) beautiful scenery. It doesn't grow old!

HotovenVery Many people but worth it  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 1, 1999

There was allot of people both time I went. It was an easy hike, and that's most likely why it was easy. It had great view of the waterfalls, and many many stairs that I raced my brother up!

silversummitShort hikes  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 4, 2005

It was extremely crowded so the only way to really see the falls or get away from the hordes of tourists at Yellowstone for that matter was to just hike for a mile or two. We did that on a number of trails for two days. It was not great weather though so I need to get back. This was my second time at Yellowstone - first was in 1966 as a teenager.

captainbuudaThe views are surreal  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 16, 2008

I often had to marvel that the views I saw were in fact a part of the physical landscape and not a painting. Simply breathtaking from Artist Point and Tower Falls was gorgeous as well.

WickedRuggedLower and Upper Falls, Clear Lake, Artist's Point  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jun 4, 2006

Started at Artist's Point and hiked along the rim to the Lower Falls, then up past the Upper Falls. Turned away from the canyon and hiked along some beautiful rolling grassy hills into a forest where I passed Clear Lake and some sulfur mudpots, which were cool, then back to the car. Wish I had more time to explore, definitely coming back!

Date Climbed: Aug 6, 2007

Enjoyed south rim with family, including a daughter with mild cerebral palsy. Walked from start of trail to Uncle Tom's point. Picnic with Buffalo back near trail head. Artist Point closed.

tiogaAugust 2000  Sucess!

Visited the area during a family vacation. Did some hiking around to get good views of both of the falls. It was a splendid area. The top of Mt Washburn also had some really good views of the canyon.

Date Climbed: May 28, 2004

I called Canyon Village "home" for the summers of 04 and 05. My best memories of this place are the full moon nights at Artist Point and the salmonfly hatch at Sevenmile Hole.

Dan the JonesWinter Ice

Amazing views, as it was winter and there were barely any tourists around.
