| I watched from the bottom as my partners, Bryan and Curtis, easily made the summit of Crab Eyes. It was along the slanted rock in this image that I decided I couldn't quite make it. Fifty feet to go and the exposure got to me. --mark d. | |

| The Crab Eyes were always my favorite destination in the Wichitas. The views were good and numerous peaks surrounded it so it was easy to tie it to trips up other summits. | |
