WasatchvoyageGreat early winter peak.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Nov 27, 2009

Decided to try Eric Willhite's route up, as mentioned from his site, and it worked great. Very cool peak and scramble up higher, noticed some type of corral fossil's in the ridge about 400 yards north of the summit. The cold, windy overcast weather didn't really hinder this one, it was a blast.

Very enjoyable repeat of this neat peak in the Silver Island range. I "guided" a friend from Seattle to the top and while thunderstorms built all around us, we had a great half hour before we decided to get the heck off the top before the thunderstorms moved our direction. I really enjoy this area.

I did find a tick on me after the hike but got the d... thing before it could make a meal out of me. I didn't expect to find ticks out there but be aware.

D-boCampbell Canyon  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Apr 22, 2009

Graham's first recorded ascent for the year. Camped overnight with tons of stars in the sky. Watched two F-16s do a banking maneuver around the peak while I was ascending (missed the photo.) It reached 80 degrees which made the descent punishing hot. The volcanic rock is very sharp. Would not recommend it for young kids, but good hikers should have a blast. Just attempt it on a cool day. I made the mistake of not driving close enough which added another mile round-trip to my hike, which I regretted while coming down in the heavy heat.

MikerHikerGreat Hike  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Nov 22, 2008

Great hike, I really enjoyed this one, Cold to start out and the wind was blowing, but all in all it was awesome. I followed the exact same route that kadee took, I was only a few feet in back of her. but I didn't want to get lost. Little bit rough on top and hard on the shoes but I loved it.

Hiked with Mike. Followed Greg's route up but also took the ridge to the South down, where I saw Eric's foot prints. I think the route that Greg describes is much easier for going up and wouldn't have liked to go up the ridge that I came down. I have done a few other peaks in the Silver Islands and always enjoy the hikes in this range.

That is the approximate date of my first climb, I suspect I've done it about 7-8 times by now one time from the north, one from Silver Island canyon, the rest via Cave Canyon. one of my favorite early spring or late fall areas.

Date Climbed: Nov 22, 2008

Came in from NW but one canyon south of the others....more direct and parking was closer....1.8 miles one way. I'll try to get a map onto the pictures. Route was class 2 and more interesting than the other route as you are go between rock canyons. Found a hiddin arch as well. Full report at http://www.willhiteweb.com/index_322.htm

DeanCame in from NW.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: May 18, 2008

Following the excellent description provided here (see route page), we made the summit in around three hours and then two hours down (or less) down. Nothing harder than class two and the last bit of the ridge was the best part. We camped down below on a good flat spot. This is an intersting range. Four of us did this mountain today, Andy Martin, Mark Nichols, Richard Joseph and myself. The other three are all from the Tucson AZ area.

Jeremy FranchowRidge Traverse/South slope  Sucess!
Date Climbed: May 10, 2007

Beautiful, rugged traverse from Lamus Peak to Graham Peak. 14 hours roundtrip. Sun almost stopped me dead in my tracks just below the summit of Graham...stupid heatwave! Interesting rock formations(arches, spires, pockets.) Greg, you were the last person to sign the register, one whole year ago! Solitude is assured in this mountain range.
