| This seems to be a favorite hike for lots of Lake employees. With it's easy accessibility, and the spectaular view of Lake Yellowstone offered at the top, it's easy to understand why. | |

| Easy hike with a nice although partially obscured view of Yellowstone Lake. Got pounded by a hailstorm upon reaching the summit. | |

| This was the very first hike I ever did as a employee in Yellowstone National Park. Working at Lake Lodge for 3 summers, I have made the hike up Elephant Back more times than I can remember. Full moon night hikes are always fun on this mountain, or when you and your buddies are all drunk and decide Elephant Back is within walking distance of the pub, so, "why not?" | |

| When I worked in at Lake Yellowstone Hotel, I hiked/ran up this mountain too many times to count, early mornings, afternoons, evenings... A great one after work to put things into perspective. | |
