| Hiked from Keys View. It was snowing on Mount San Jacinto but I got a good view of the Salton Sea from the summit. | |

| Started early at 6:15am from Keys view to beat the heat and it was quite pleasant. The area was absolutely deserted except for the big snake i almost stepped on. Very nice views of the coachella valley and San Jacinto. Even at a moderate pace only took about 1.5 hours roundtrip. Register is still there, but not too many summer visitors have signed. | ||

| Hiked up with my wife and daughter (on my back) and mgeo and his wife. Nice hike, beautiful weather and great views. After multiple false summits we found the highpoint along with USGS marker and register. Check out this link for some photos | |

| Took a break from climbing in JT and drove out to bag this peak as part of my quest to get 25 of the hundred peaks hikes done this year. The log books going back to 1985 were an extra treat. | |
