| In the old literature, this chunk of rock is referred to as the Rabbit Ears Massif, so I will stick to that.
(First ascent) I'll never forget this day as it was the day before my daughter was born and one of the roughest "trails" I had ever ascended (not counting off-trail bushwhacking) to one amazing view high up in the Organs. We had wonderful weather, warm for early October, but little did I know when I returned home that I'd be up at 3 something the following morning, still wasted from the adventure that ended less than twelve hours before, to head to the hospital for another multi-hour affair that gave us our wonderful daughter.
(Second ascent) January 2006 - my wife was jealous of my previous ascent |
