| A really nice hike to take friends from out of town that is not very strenuous but take water as it does get warm - also if you can descend by 4:00PM you can visit the little observatory. Does anyone know the Jack London Quote that was on one of the overview maps at the top of the peak? It was very beautiful. | ||

| Hiked planet trail to brushy peaks and along ridge to bald mountain. descended on road to parking lot. 7.9 miles and great views. Incredibly windy on top and freezing but still enjoyable. | |
