A nice loop hike combined with the other 3 Puma peaks in the area. I only used the road for a few brief stretchs to the saddle as it's more efficient to cut the long switchbacks by bushwacking.

Very nice day for a snowshoe, although a lot of snow-covered fallen timber to contend with just below the summit

I did this along with Little Puma and Farnum Peaks. I know they are called the Puma Hills but it seems they are more a part of the Tarryall Mountain Range. For all their prominence they don't stand out like many of the other peaks in the area.
