MoapaPkOh yeah, I was there too!  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Apr 14, 2007

I took the long approach. It was sunny and reached 80F at mid-day -- boy, it felt hotter. I cached two water bottles on the route in, and used both on the way back. The west side of the peak has lots of steep talus slopes on top of blind cliffs, yuck. I wish I could take photos as nice as Anya's!

Anya JingleVia the Long Ridge  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jan 17, 2008

One of the best hikes that I have done in Lake Mead area on the Nevada side. The approach to the ridge is long, but well worth it. Great vistas of the lake and some signature peaks ( Sentinel, Pyramid, Bonelli, Boulder, Arch etc.) from Guardian.
It was only 45 degrees F plus windchill, which was perfect for this type of hike. I would not want to do this route in warm weather.
