| After climbing McIntyre earlier in the day, we thought about traversing the ridge to Jacqueline, but the mix of snow and rock on the exposed ridge forced us down a few hundred feet, and we contoured over to the base of Jacqueline’s east face. The snow was getting pretty soft, so we ditched the crampons and scrambled up the rock section instead. It was steep, but surprisingly stable. Lot’s of fun. On the way out, we linked up enough snowfields for a couple thousand feet of glissading down the southern slopes. Yee Haw! Here’s a trip-report and some photos. |
